rceez

PRODUCER / MUSICIAN

Rceez was born in 1979 in Ocotal, Nicaragua. From the young age of 4 he and his family had to move from unfortunate measures of war his country was having during a revolutionary period. Thanks to family in the states they were able to find peace and begin a new life in Delray, Florida. Growing up Rceez was exposed to all sorts of new and adventurous paths. All of this was new to the whole family. His parents inspired him with music of all sorts, which gave him a huge music background. His grandfather Cesar Fiallos was a one-man-band. He was an amazing performer. He played everything and with perfection which is a strong feature from Rceez, a perfectionist with defined structure. His Mother sings, father sings, grandmother sings and a line of guitarists, pianists, and salsa singers live in twine with the family on a constant basis. When Rceez was old enough to take music classes, his parents put him in Piano courses at the age of 10 which to him was his first love besides the natural progression of percussion. From there on, a new side of Rceez came out. Thru his schooling and sports, Rceez never took his music seriously, it was just for kicks (Riding in cars free-styling with teammates, banging beats on desks in class was a tradition in its own). When college came along, Miami was the spot and his first time away from home. That's where Rceez found himself. He went to school for Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Miami. The majority of the school was from the Caribbean, South Americas, and Europe amongst many from the US. That's where he met the turntable!!! This was it, his friend Mostafa introduced him into the machine that has made Rceez well known for a style in scratching, mixing, and producing, He went from turntables to the computer to recording in weeks, and to this day, Rceez is still rocking out with the wheels of steel doing dance routines for Choreographer, Monica Richardson. He has also grown an inventory of Latin Percussion instruments around the world which are included in 90% of his work, which defines Rceez as a soul provider in his music. To better word his work, it's a blend of Latin, Afro-Cuban, Hip-hop, Rock, R&B and Electronica. He hopes to produce for major and unknown artists as well Major Record labels to help spread his view on rhythms and style. For more info Click Here
